As a Polymechanic, you manufacture tools, components, and assemblies from metal or plastic, assemble machines and systems, and work with state-of-the-art CNC machines. In addition to manufacturing, your diverse professional routine also includes programming, quality assurance, as well as assembly and maintenance work.

Sekundar- or very good Realschulabschluss

Before you officially apply, we recommend completing a trial apprenticeship with us. This way, you not only get to know the profession of a Polymechanic up close but also gain a first insight into our company, the team, and the way we work.

If you enjoyed the trial apprenticeship and can imagine training with us, we look forward to your application. Please send us the following documents: - A short motivation letter: Why do you want to become a Polymechanic – and why with us? - A tabular resume with a current photo - Copies of the last two school reports - If available: Trial apprenticeship reports or letters of recommendation

Invitation to Interview

If your application convinces us, we will invite you to an interview. It is not about exam situations, but about getting to know each other. You can ask questions, we will tell you more about the training, the processes in the company, and our expectations – and we want to know what motivates and interests you.

Contract & Start of Apprenticeship

If everything fits after the interview – both professionally and personally – you will receive an apprenticeship offer from us. Once you sign, we will reserve your place for the start of the apprenticeship in summer. This marks the beginning of your journey as a trainee at Schilling AG – with solid training, a collegial environment, and exciting prospects.
